The Customer Success Manager for Minerals manages a book of business that includes renewals, expansions, forecasting accuracy, and long-term customer outcomes. This role blends account management, commercial ownership, and deep industry understanding of minerals and royalties workflows. You will work with customers throughout their lifecycle to ensure adoption, ROI, and consistent year-over-year revenue performance.
Performance Objectives 
Customer Outcomes and Adoption
• Lead onboarding, training, workflow alignment, and ongoing product adoption across minerals-focused accounts.
• Partner with Technical Advisors to connect customer pain points to analytics, market intelligence, valuation tools, and workflow automation.
• Drive measurable ROI for clients focused on asset valuation, portfolio optimization, land data, activity monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Customer Education to identify opportunities to deepen adoption within each account.
Commercial Ownership
• Own all renewals, expansions, and growth motions within your assigned accounts.
• Maintain pipeline visibility for upgrades, expansions, and cross-product expansion across the Enverus minerals suite.
• Conduct structured QBRs that tie customer objectives directly to platform results.
• Identify whitespace opportunities tied to minerals market challenges including valuation precision, deal sourcing, competitive intelligence, and land workflow automation.
Forecasting and Reporting
• Maintain an accurate renewal and upsell forecast on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
• Track health indicators, at-risk accounts, renewal timelines, and expansion opportunities in Salesforce.
• Provide regular visibility to leadership around committed, upside, and at-risk revenue.
Negotiation and Account Strategy
• Manage complex contract renewals including multi-year agreements and pricing discussions.
• Navigate minerals organizations including executives, land teams, finance groups, and investment committees.
• Lead commercial conversations with clear alignment on value delivered and future growth potential.
 
Competitive Candidate Profile
Industry and Functional Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing accounts within energy, ideally minerals, royalties, land, private equity, or upstream analytics.
• Strong understanding of the minerals and royalties value chain, including valuation, market activity, transactions, and portfolio management.
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment with recurring revenue models and ongoing value delivery.
Commercial and Performance Experience
• Proven success owning a renewal and upsell quota and delivering consistent ARR performance.
• Demonstrated ability to run both retention and growth motions including discovery, upgrade positioning, risk mitigation, and closing.
• Experience forecasting accurately and managing enterprise commercial processes.

• Strong consultative acumen with the ability to translate complex market problems into clear product value.
• High urgency, strong follow-through, and a results-focused mindset.
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Education.

This role is eligible for: Commission

Salary Range: 70,000 - 80,000 Base Salary with 70,000 - 80,000 Commission. 140,000 - 160,000 OTE
